Mark Preston also known as Tenna Tsa Teh, was born in 1960 in Dawson City, Yukon, and grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon. He attended the famed ‘Ksan school, where he studies with Eugene Alfred and Phil Janze in jewelry. He has been inspired by Vernon Stephens and Robert Davidson. Mark descends from the Tlingit , inland, Raven and Frog Clans of the Kwanlin Dun People of Whitehorse,. His signature, Tenna Tsa Teh (master of the copper) incorporates the copper shield.
